Sun Holdings is seeking a Treasury Associate responsible for performing daily banking and treasury tasks that support the corporate office and field locations. This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Dallas, Texas, where our culture is engaging and collaborative due to our onsite Monday through Friday operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and report daily banking activity
- Check, inspect and verify daily bank transactions
- Research, find and assign banks to new locations
- Assist with the opening of new bank accounts
- Record bank transactions in the General Ledger
- Order deposit slips and deposit bags for the field team
- Assist Accounting team with verifying certain bank transactions
- Provide support with credit card payments, wire and ACH payments, and checks scanning process
- Support the Treasury team with other duties and special projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in Treasury or Accounting
- Professional work ethic and high standard of integrity
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Organized, focused, and strong attention to detail
- Eager to learn, self-starter with initiative and interest in problem solving
- Strong oral and written communication skills – Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines while multi-tasking
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others as needed
